Eternal Perspective and Pleasing Christ (Missionary to Italy, Matt Johnston)

How would you describe your life as a Christian? Is it mired down with earthly desires and concerns for the things you can see, or does your love for Christ move you to walk boldly by faith? Everyone who has genuinely trusted in Christ has the hope of heaven, but not all live lives poured out in His service. It matters how we live. If our aim is to please Christ, we must prefer His presence over all else, and we must prepare ourselves for the perfect scrutiny of His judgment. Every earthly thing will one day pass away, but Christ is building His Church even now as an eternal testimony to His supremacy and grace. Are you spending your life on what is worthy, or what is worthless?
