"Teaching biblical truth in a way that young minds can grasp."
We use the Generations of Grace (GoG) curriculum for both our Sunday School and Children's Church classes. GoG takes children through the entire Bible once every 3 years, and goes continually deeper as the children mature and grow in their ability to comprehend. Rather than making the human biblical characters the focus of the lessons, GoG is designed to magnify God by studying His character. In this way children can better understand who God is and how we are to respond by studying how His redemptive plan has unfolded and how He has used men to accomplish His purpose.
9:00 AM- Children's Church | Ages 3 through 5
Like children's Sunday School, Children's Church centers on the teaching of biblical truth using the GoG curriculum. However, Children's Church also features a time of singing and activities to supplement what is taught in the lesson. Children's Church is for children age 3-5, and follows the same safety and security procedures as our Sunday School classes. Children may be checked in to Children's Church as early as 8:45 am.
10:45 AM- Children's Sunday School | Age 3 through 6th Grade
We have three children's Sunday school classes based on age: 3-5 year olds, 1st-3rd grade children, and 4th-6th grade children. You can check your children in to the class starting at 10:30 am, and then pick your child up immediately following the end of the worship service. Each class is staffed by two adults (a teacher and a helper). All of our volunteers undergo a thorough background check and are trained in children's safety and security procedures. Children from 3 years old to 3rd grade must be both signed in and signed out by the parent or other responsible party. Children in the 4th-6th grade class may be released after class on their own with permission from their parents.
