The Spiritual Warfare Mandate, Part 6
Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: Ephesians Passage: Ephesians 6:10–17
If we fail to use the armor God has provided for our protection, we are easy prey for life-dominating patterns of sin, even such destructive sexual sins as pornography. Once trapped in the downward spiral of the flesh’s insatiable desires and the inevitable and compounding sense of guilt, discouragement can quickly give way to hopelessness. As the flesh cries out for satisfaction, believing any lie that temporarily soothes the conscience, the inner man quietly starves for communion with the Lord. Our deliverance is not in the strength of our resolve, but in the power of God. Fill your mind with the knowledge of God and His ways, be zealous for good deeds, meditate on the glorious Savior and our future reward, and believe upon the Lord! Are you struggling with sexual sin? Then confess it, repent, and get help. God is in the business of setting men free from slavery to sin. Put off your sin, and put on your armor!
