Remembering the Riches of God's Redemptive Work, Part 2

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: Ephesians Passage: Ephesians 2:11–2:22

The Christian life is one of stark contrast. Once we were dead, but now we are alive. Once we were in darkness, strangers to the covenants of promise, far from God and without the consolation and love of Christ. But now we walk in the light, brought near to God and able to enjoy peace with Him in life and the certainty of heaven in death. Praise God for His kindness, and always remember that it was the blood of Christ that secured our salvation and spared us from an eternity of futility and ruin! Only the death of the Son of God could satisfy our infinite debt and reconcile us to the Father. Salvation isn't about what we're doing for God, but about our relationship to Jesus Christ. Do you hope in Him alone? Are you near to Him and striving to draw nearer still?
