The Kingdom’s Critical Mission: Embrace the Need

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: The Kingdom's Critical Mission Topic: Witness Passage: Matthew 9:35–38

The call to salvation is a Kingdom purpose, and we are commanded to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this to reflect the love of God within us, and for His glory. Yet we often fall short in this because we are too concerned with our own comfort to be disturbed by the need of others. The danger of hell is real, and anyone with eyes can see that the world is daily becoming a more perilous and loveless place. This leaves us with a choice to make. We will either remain cold and silent, or speak the truth of Christ with boldness, knowing that every life spared is one more voice in the eternal praise to be found in God’s Kingdom. The world around us is distressed and dispirited, living lives of turmoil and futility because they are like sheep without a shepherd. Pray that God would send workers into the harvest, resolve to spend yourself in sharing the good news of the Kingdom, and then trust the Lord to save whom He will.
