Assured by Love- Pt 4

It was God's holiness that required His terrifying wrath to be poured out on sin, and it was His love that sent His sinless Son to bear the full weight of that wrath for those who neither loved nor sought Him. God hates sin, but He desires reconciliation, and these truths are brought into glorious clarity in the life and death of Jesus Christ. Our response to such love can only be a humble gratitude that causes us to live and model that very same love. And even as we give our lives away to His purposes, our own reward is unspeakably great- the assurance that God abides in us!
