A Christmas Gift

The gospel is indeed good news. By God's grace through faith in Christ, we are given the gift of salvation and made heirs of God. How do we rightly respond to such an indescribable gift? Let us rejoice and live as obedient children of God. The gospel is freedom- not to to live as we please, but to live a life that is pleasing to God. What other response could we have when we've been freed from the penalty and dominion of sin, and been given all of the rights, privileges, and honor that comes from being one of His children?
