Whatever knowledge we may think we possess or whatever good works we may practice, it all means nothing if we do not tremble at the Word of God. The more we twist the truth and add our traditions and opinions to it, the more we drift from Him and allow our hearts to grow hard and cold. If you love the Lord with all of your heart, embrace the simplicity and clarity of His Word. Trust in the matchless wisdom of Christ, and He will make your paths straight.
