We are not to cause God’s people to stumble. The Father is deeply concerned for His children as we see the work of the Shepherd in seeking, rescuing, and protecting them. He has left us an example to follow. And we should seek to show God’s care for others by protecting them from our own sin and loving them to repentance and restoration.
