The Manifestation of the Messiah

Is it important for the church to teach and protect the doctrine of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ?  Jesus Christ is one person with two distinct natures and this is made possible by the virgin birth. He is both fully man and fully God. The virgin birth is a necessary and central doctrine to the church because it proves Jesus is the Messiah and was truly the Son of God.
