The Kingdom’s Critical Mission: Understand the Purpose, Part 1

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: The Kingdom's Critical Mission Topic: Witness Passage: Matthew 10:5–15

We don’t have the same power or authority as the apostles, yet we are ambassadors of Christ and custodians of the unique proclamation given to us by our God and King. It is a message that demands the complete surrender of the wayward sinner, but which promises full pardon, Kingdom citizenship, and eternal life to anyone who will die to self and live for the glory of God. This gospel was authenticated by the sign gifts of the apostles who came before us, and its power is evidenced today as we yield to the truth and live in ways that demonstrate how we have been made useful and whole. Do you know this King? Then today is the day to strive in His service! Commit to labor in His harvest fields, joyfully enduring both rejection and persecution, and trusting Him to pierce the hearts of those whom He has called. Our motivation to serve Him is neither riches nor accolades, but rather to walk in the same love and compassion as our King, and to see Him exalted above all.
