Two Examples of Great Faith

People come to Christ in various ways, but all come recognizing that He is their only hope. Consider the woman who hoped to be healed of her hemorrhaging, and the ruler who wanted Jesus to raise his deceased little girl. One came boldly while the other came cautiously, yet both approached Christ publicly and trusted in Him to help, and both received a gracious response to their anxious pleas. We may come from different circumstances, backgrounds, and temperaments, but everyone who expresses saving faith in Jesus Christ comes painfully aware of their sinful condition and knows that Christ alone is the remedy. Christians prize nothing more than He, and we gladly leave our old life of sin and willingly follow the Savior no matter the cost. How about you? Have you left all to follow Christ? Have you seen your great need for salvation and entrusted your life to Him alone? Whether you come to Christ confidently or cautiously, come you must if you hope to find healing in the mercy, grace, and compassion of God.
