Remembering the Riches of God's Redemptive Work, Part 5

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: Ephesians Passage: Ephesians 2:11–22

When we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we become a part of the household of God. But to conduct ourselves rightly in His household, we must first remember that Christ Himself is the Head. We do not have the right to re-purpose the Church or mold its ministries to please ourselves. It is God's house where He uniquely dwells with the gathered saints. It is where professing believers come to worship the Lord, and to be edified and built up through the sound preaching of His Word. It was specifically designed by God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets who proclaimed the supremacy and truth of Christ, and it is a place of restoration for exiled sinners who seek to live together under His Lordship, and in loving service to one another. Is this where you call home?
