Remembering the Riches of God's Redemptive Work, Part 3

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: Ephesians Passage: Ephesians 2:11–2:22

Christ has abolished the Law in order to bring peace between Jew and Gentile, and between God and men. But which laws have been done away with? All of them? Some of them? In His death on the cross, Jesus Christ removed the laws and ordinances which served to separate Jews and Gentiles, and in so doing reconciled them both to God in one body. But the moral law remains the standard toward which we are to consistently strive, because it is a reflection of the perfect and unchanging character of God. These are the laws written on our hearts, and which Christ summed up as love for God and love for others. Does your heart yearn for peace, and do you desire to love like God? Then look to Jesus Christ, the only hope of the world!
