Saved by Grace, Part 6

Everyone understands that a genuine Christian must exercise faith in Jesus Christ. But how do we come by that faith? Is it something that we generate and give to God in order to be saved, or something that God gives when He saves us? Scripture says that we were once dead in our sins, and that He made us alive. Faith is the necessary gift God gives when He grants us this new life in Christ, and it is a gift that produces the fruit that evidences the reality of that faith to the world. From beginning to end, our salvation is only the work of God, and therefore the glory for our redemption is His alone.
