It is good to bring even the smallest concerns to God, but as our faith matures our prayers should become bigger. They should be less about us and more about the work of God. Do you want a prayer life that is spiritually enriching and deeply satisfying? Then praise God for the work that He is doing in and around you, and petition Him for a greater awareness of His majesty, power, and plan. As your knowledge of God grows, you will be taken outside of yourself and into His glory so that you may exalt Him as you should.
