Worship through Prayer, Part 1

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: Ephesians Passage: Ephesians 1:15–1:16

Prayer is both praise and petition, and in Paul's prayer we see a mature example of Christian love and concern. The apostle understood that all biblical doctrine is meant for application in the heart, and that every circumstance brings opportunity for life transformation that demonstrates faith and glorifies God. Therefore, we imitate Paul and we praise God and give thanks for the evident faith and godly love of fellow believers, and we ask Him that we would all increasingly grow in the maturity of our faith. Prayer is an act of worship and the cry of a humble heart, and it flows from a selfless love for both the Lord and His Church.
