Worship in the Word

Our position in Christ is secure from the moment we express saving faith in Him, but God desires and commands that we mature in the grace and knowledge of Christ. How do we do this? Christian growth isn't fueled by emotion or mysticism, but a deepening knowledge and trust in the Person and work of our Lord as is only revealed in His Word. This is the purpose of the Word, and this is its promise and power. We mature in Christ as we better know His truth through study, and more faithfully live His truth through practice.
