Perfected in Love- Pt 4

As we've wrestled with this section of 1 John for these many weeks, we've come to a far deeper understanding of what perfect love really looks like. We've learned that it is the natural outflow of a vital union with Christ, that it creates assurance and boldness before a holy God, that it drives out fear of condemnation as well as irrational and ungodly fears, and that it absolutely overcomes hate. This love is the measure of our Christian character and we are to practice it at all times, both publicly and privately. Love God and love others, and fulfill the law of Christ.
