Satan wants us to believe that God doesn't really care about sin. But He is so concerned about it that He stepped in to take care of it Himself through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son. Sin is lawlessness, and we must guard against its influence in our lives and hearts. But how do we fight against sin? Religious ceremonies and practices are futile, and no set of rules can deliver you from the penalty and power of sin. Guard yourself by pursuing Christ! Live in Him, and you will have the power to live like Him.
