baker 310x310Kyle Baker, a graduate of The Expositor's Seminary, and his wife Maiah and their children Ranier, and Vodie joined the mission field in Kenya, Nairobi where they partnered with Pastor Mark Ndinyo, who is also a graduate of The Expositor's Seminary in November of 2022. Kyle joined the Nairobi church plant to aid in discipleship, student ministry, and training leaders. In mid 2023, they welcomed baby Zemek to their family!

The Baker family are relocating from Nairobi, Kenya, to Sekenani, Kenya in April 2024. It is a village about five hours from Nairobi. They will be entering into a mentorship program, coming under veteran missionaries to Kenya until they take their first furlough. Their primary goal will be language fluency, and this will help them attain it.

During this mentorship, they will return to language learning to become fluent in Swahili. They will also continue to fulfill the great commission by strengthening the local church through teaching, discipleship, training up elders, and training men. They will have godly, seasoned missionaries leading them in maneuvering through Kenya’s culture as believers, and also set them on a path of longevity of ministry in Kenya.

Exciting news! They have been gifted from God with the very best kind of surprise: another, baby! While unexpected they are praising the Lord for His perfect plan for their family. They are due September 3, putting him/her just 14 months younger than Zemek.

  • Please pray that the Lord would be glorified in all they say and d
