Doug was born in 1955 and born-again by God’s grace in 1995. He served alongside his wife Lisa as youth ministry leaders at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City, Pa. from 1996 through 2002. He completed his course work, earning a Diploma in Ministry from Cornerstone Bible Center in Coraopolis, Pa. in 2001. Served as a deacon, then an elder from 2006 through 2012 at North Street Christian Church in Butler, Pa. Upon retiring from the USPS in 2013, he and Lisa moved to Englewood, Fl. Doug served as an elder at Good Shepherd Church from 2015 until it was grafted into Saving Grace Bible Church in 2017. He was affirmed as an elder at SGBC in 2022. Doug and Lisa have been married 42 years, have two children and three grandchildren.
