CHURCH BUILDING PROJECT

Current Pastoral Offices and Expositor's Seminary
This project has been designed after meeting with other TES campuses to discuss their space issues, as well as ministry leaders at SGBC. This is a representation of trying to incorporate all that information into a design that will work well for SGBC moving forward.
Phase 1 Floor Plan
For our phase 1 floor plan, we will have a large, multi-purpose oversized lobby that is specifically designed for informal fellowship, and more formal events and fellowship activities. And on your left, we will have a Phase 1 worship auditorium that will seat 600, and features a large, raised platform that can accommodate both a small orchestra and a choir. There are rooms on either side that can be used for conference speakers and others as well as a backstage area for storage, and the choir and musicians.
The three large brown areas located in the rear of the Sanctuary are our two fellowship group classrooms and third large space, each of which can easily accommodate large groups. On the right side, we have a kitchen and restrooms, as well as our youth classrooms, and our children’s ministry classroom and nursery rooms. The corridors are wide and designed to allow for free flow of traffic.
Phase 2 Floor Plan
In this final phase, those three large classrooms are gone in the back of the Sanctuary. Those are designed to be temporary and easily removed, so we can expand auditorium seating to over 800. The two large adult classrooms have been added to the right side of the building, adjacent to the youth rooms.
In Phase 2 we also add an office expansion, where we’ll have staff offices when we’re ready to move the staff over from the current Keystone house. We also have an addition of two more children’s classrooms in the children's wing to accommodate the growth in children’s ministry as the church grows.
