The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, Part 2

Pastor: Pastor Marc Wragg Series: The Parables Topic: Evil Passage: Matthew 13:24–30, Matthew 13:36–43

If we look upon the world through human eyes, there appears to be little cause for hope. Unbelief reigns in centers of power and influence, sin is embraced in ways that would have been unthinkable even a decade ago, and even many who profess to know Christ possess little if any fruit to back up their claim. Depravity co-mingles with righteousness, and often the work of corruption seems to be the stronger of the two. But if we look through eyes informed by the Word of God, a different picture begins to take shape. The existence of evil does not thwart the plan of God. Satan’s schemes will not stop it, nor can it be undone by the wickedness of men. At the proper time the Lord will bring human history to a close, and forever separate the wheat from the chaff. Do you yearn to see the glorious rule of the Lord? Look to Christ and endure, and you will have your heart’s desire. Or have you rejected this Savior until now? Turn to Him today and be saved.
